5.1 Find existing quotes

Finding and using existing quotes will save you rework when you want to send a follow-up quote or copy to create another quote. To find a quote:

  • Log in and click My Account > Quotes
  • Search your quotes by selecting the date range on the calendar and then click Search
  • The records will appear on the same page and you can click a specific record to review the details.

 

5.2 Create a quote

The instructions below provide one way to create a quote, but you also can convert a basket to a quote.

  • Click My Account in the main navigation, and click Quotes in the menu at the left side of the screen.
  • Then click Create New Quote on the right side of the screen and a pop-up window will appear.
  • Choose a name for the quote, define if it's a public or shared quote*, and click Create Quote.
  • On the Quote details page, you may complete the Header Personalisation and Quote Information fields with general information regarding the quote.

* Public quote: Others in your company will be able to view and duplicate the quote, but cannot change or delete it.
Shared quote: Others in your company will be able to view, edit, and delete the quote and contents.

 

5.3 Add Items to Quotes

You may choose from a variety of methods to add more items to your quotes.

Add Items to Basket

  • Click My Account, Baskets, and the basket name.
  • Add products to the basket and then transform a basket to a quote.

Direct Entry

  • Click My Account, Quotes, and the Quote name.
  • Enter quantity and SKU. Click Add.

Import from a Spreadsheet

  • Click My Account, Quotes, and the Quote name.
  • Click Import from Spreadsheet, then Browse, and select the file.
  • Click Import and OK.

 

5.4 Copy a quote

You easily can transfer the information of an existing quote to a new one.

  • Click the arrow to expand the quote details you wish to copy.
  • Click Duplicate.
  • Name your quote and select if it is a public or shared quote*.
  • Click Create Quote.
  • You may access your quote through your dashboard.

* Public quote: Others in your company will be able to view and duplicate the quote, but cannot change or delete it.
Shared quote: Others in your company will be able to view, edit, and delete the quote and contents.

 

5.5 Transform a quote to a basket

When you're ready to convert a quote into an order, first convert it to a basket.

  • Access the existing quote or create a new quote if needed.
  • Verify that the active basket is the one you want to use, and then click Add Contents to Basket at the top of the Quotes details page.
  • Your quote contents will now be included in your active basket.

You also may click on the arrow beside the Add Contents to Basket button to select a different basket or create a new basket.

To create a new basket from a quote:

  • Click My Account and then Quotes.
  • Check the box next to the quote you wish added to a new basket.
  • Click the Add Contents to Basket arrow and select + Create New Basket.
  • Name your quote and select if it's public or shared.*
  • Click Create Quote.

* Public quote: Others in your company will be able to view and duplicate the quote but cannot change or delete it.
Shared quote: Others in your company will be able to view, edit, and delete the quote and contents.

You may access your quote through your dashboard.
